Nora - 6/8/2018
Nora ate cream of wheat cereal and half of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate no "baked beef kabobs" with meat, zucchini, peppers, and pineapple. She ate half of brown rice, and ate a large serving of pineapple on the side.
This first picture was taken yesterday afternoon. There are 5 kids inside the geo-climber, plus Kenzie dumping the balls, and Linnea watching from the edge. Just as a FYI for you, yesterday was the last day at Little Treasures for Kenzie and Riley as they will be going to Summer Camps now that school is officially over as of this morning at 11:00. Their Grandparents are moving to Missoula as well so it may have been the last day for good. I'll miss them for sure! They've been a part of the Daycare Family for more than 8 years! (Nora is in the bottom right of the picture. You can see her hat and sunglasses!)
I always love to meet the children's Grandparents! And it was so very special to meet one set of Nora's Grandparents this morning. Thank you for stopping by!! I love Nora and I love taking care of her! I think Nora benefits from being here as well. With her temperament and personality it's wonderful that she can begin learning some social skills that will benefit her going forward when she starts school some day!
Here are some pictures from this morning's activities. She played with Atley - or more accurately - sometimes with her and sometimes near her. :) They played with the cars and slides and then in the 2nd picture they were putting some "egg-shaped" shakers in the cups and dumping them out. Look how Nora's hand is twisted; she'd just dumped one out, but I couldn't find it in the picture. :) The last picture: Nora is one of those children (and we've had lots of them) who will play in the larger group, then back out and play by themselves, then join the group again. Have I ever mentioned that she has her own ideas!?! :)
