Nora - 7/26/2018

Nora ate most of whole wheat english muffin and two servings of oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and two servings of applesauce.

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon.  This always cracks me up!!  The smallest kid pulling the wagon loaded with the bigger kid or in this case, two bigger kids.  :)  Love it.  Pull Nora pull!!  Avi and Atley just waiting for a wagon ride.  This was happening right before Momma Emily drove up and when Nora saw Momma she abandoned her post and ran to see Mom.  :)

This next picture is what Nora does after breakfast every day!  Goes to this spot just inside the gate and examines the situation at hand!  "Hmmm...what should I do?"  I'd love to know what she's thinking! She stood there for two or three minutes and then asked, "Can I do puzzle?"  :)  Sure.  In the following picture Nora is stretched out on the pillows watching herself in the mirror.

Here's what Nora really likes to do!!  She chuckling and grinning.  As soon as I lay baby Svea on the floor Nora smokes over there and lays her head on the baby.  Nora still runs/sprints to the couch every time I say I'm gonna feed one of the babies.  And she'll sit beside me while I feed.  Linnea may be slightly falling out of favor though!!  :)  This morning Linnea grabbed Nora's doll and Nora was whimpering, "my baby, my baby, my baby."  "No Linnea, no Linnea."  Ha!  So I said, "Nora, you are the big girl.  Just stand up, take your toys and move away from her."  But that didn't work.  Nora wanted Linnea to move away.  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
