Nora - 8/22/2018

Nora ate two servings of french toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she wouldn't touch the paleo stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes.  She ate saltines and tropical fruit.

I took this first picture during snack yesterday afternoon.  Linnea and Nora were being pretty silly in their highchairs and it was so cute.  I love it when the kids interact with each other this way!  Nora was making goofy squawking noises and Linnea was laughing loud!  It's also very cute how much enjoyment they get from making each other laugh!  Nora was cracking up every time Linnea would laugh!

First picture from this morning: Nora was watching Hudson going down the little slide on a pillow and she was giggling and saying, "Bubba!  Bubba!"  Next picture is Nora during Art Time drawing on the "thing" - whatever it is!  haha!  She played with it for the longest time; long after Hudson was tired of playing with his!

Here's what Svea's life looks like immediately after I put her on the floor after her morning nap.  (The other kids are like vultures hovering and then come swooping in!)  Nora, Hudson, Atley, and Avi all ask; "Can I talk to Svea Gary!?!  Can I talk to Svea!?!"  Of course!  But they seem to think that when I say "yes" that ONLY applies to them!!  Haha!  The life of a celebrity must be difficult Svea!?!  Svea's bib frequently goes up over her face and Nora kept going over to her and fixing the bib for her.  Thank you Nora for taking good care of your friend.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
