Nora - 8/27/2018

Nora ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, no whole wheat pita bread, ate two servings of olives, two servings of tomatoes, bite of avocado, and two large servings of cantaloupe.  (I agree with you Nora!!  Those Dixon melons are yummy!!)

First picture: Nora was still eating breakfast and watching Atley poke her head in and out of the igloo!  They were both cracking up and enjoying each other.  Too cute.  Earlier, when Atley was still at the table eating breakfast Nora kept looking at her and just giggling.  I think it's safe to say that Nora is pleased to have her friend back at Little Treasures!!  I love Nora's intense "belly laugh!" It's just too cute and Atley brings that out more than anyone at Daycare!!

Here is a picture of Nora laying on the floor reading.  Which is not unusual, but this is what she was doing during Story Time!  Haha!  That made me laugh.  She sat with us for awhile then just got down and got her own books. "I can do this myself!!"  :)

In this last picture the 3 kids who are here today were doing a "goodbye" banner to Hudson.  This is Hudson's last day at Little Treasures, tomorrow he'll be with Grandparents, then on to Preschool on Wednesday.  I'm saving his spot for his little brother who is due to arrive in early December and then will join Little Treasures next Spring!  :)  I love it when families have a 2nd child!!  I get attached to the whole family as well as the children!!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
