Nora - 9/10/2018
Nora chose not to eat any breakfast here. For lunch she ate two big servings of chicken ("more cheek-in" haha! too cute), ate whole wheat pita bread, ate tomatoes, cucumber, olives, and most of peppers, and she ate her pears. She definitely made up for no breakfast here!!
While Linnea was sitting in her highchair eating lunch (she ate early) Nora was finishing up coloring with some new markers we got. The rule with the markers is "you have to get the lid on and put it in the tray before you get another marker." Nora was struggling with the lids and said, "Help me Linnea, help me! Help me Linnea!!" LOL That sure made me laugh!! Nora, did you happen to notice she's strapped in her highchair!?! Or that she's a baby!?! A classic example of lack of logic!
Avi and Atley were running back-n-forth between the chair and the mattress yelling about flying on the airplane, going on a trip, going to the airport, and going to the station. Atley said to Nora; "The station Nor Nor, the station. The station! Hop on, hop on!!" (She wanted Nora to hop on the chair and go on a ride - Atley would spin her.) Nora just stood there looking at Atley and then started hopping across the floor. LOL! That made me laugh!! "Hey! I'm hopping on like you said - just on down the road!"
Here are some pictures from Nora's morning. Svea had pooped through her diaper so I sat her down to go get some clothes and Nora moved right over and laid her head on Svea's back. :) Nora is coloring on her paper, but reaching over the marker tray that she's controlling! That didn't look comfortable. I've noticed her using her left hand a lot lately. Especially coloring like in the picture and using a spoon or fork at the table. (It's still too early to make a definitive statement about being left or right handed, but a possibility.) Last picture; I noticed that Nora had gotten some marker on her face and I was going to wash it after I had the art table cleaned up. Then I saw Avi trying to clean it off with the doll blanket. So cute. Avi is a great little Mommy/Big Sister!!
