Nora - 10/11/2018

Nora ate french toast and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pulled pork, most of whole wheat toast, ate peas, and watermelon.  I got a new router installed last night so the Blogs are up and going today!!

Here are a couple of pictures I took yesterday!  Nora was doing all kinds of wild antics on the mattress and making me laugh!  Which of course encouraged her to do more!!  Look close at her head in the first picture!  It made my neck sore just to see that!  haha!  Second picture: Pretty impressive bridge going on there!  Haha!  (That's what we called in it wrestling - trying to keep the shoulders off the mat and not get pinned!!)

This morning Nora started saying, "gonna buy you, gonna buy you, gonna buy you!!"  Very excited!! What the heck are you talking about!?!  Then I realized the song playing from the iPod was "Daddy gonna buy you a mocking bird....."  Haha!  I frequently sing that song to the babies.  Next picture: See the legos in Nora's hands?  Those are a "birthday cake" and she was singing "Happy Birthday" to Linnea.  Linnea looks quite attentive in the picture, doesn't she!?

The kids were doing some water painting along with several other activities this morning.  Lauralea asked Nora, "Are you gonna do any other color or just purple?"  Nora said, "Just purple."  Ha!  Last picture: Nora loves playing with the camera and will stick with it for a long time.  (Here she's taking a picture of Lauralea.)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
