Nora - 10/22/2018

Nora ate cheerios and bites of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, half of whole wheat pita bread, no avocado, half of olives, ate tomato, and ate cantaloupe.

Nora was so excited to be back and it was SO much fun to have her back!  I was hugging on her five or six times and she was ok with that!!  Thank you Nora.  Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  Here's a picture of those two waving at Atley's Momma.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora.

Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!!

Here are a couple more pictures from Nora's morning: She had fun doing this preschool activity; sorting the dinosaurs by color and she's a whiz at it and enjoys doing the various color activities we have.   She also did some halloween stickers for art.  Last picture; Linnea joined Nora playing with the doll and blankets and Nora didn't even squawk at her!!  :)  In Nora's world Babies are given a larger range of understanding than the older kids when interfering with Nora's play!!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
