Nora - 10/25/2018
Nora chose to not eat breakfast. (That's not unusual when she arrives after breakfast has started. And I know she probably ate at home so it doesn't cause me concern. I think I repeat this in the Blog every time she comes after breakfast has started! Ha!) For lunch she ate bites of sausage and hamburger pizza with whole wheat pizza crust, tomato sauce, olives, pineapple, and peppers. She also ate a large serving of pineapple on the side.
Reid was here after school yesterday and he was regaling us with some stories at the snack table. He really does have a funny sense of humor and comes up with some dandies!! He looked at the little kids and said, "Hey Guys!! The only thing you do in Kindergarten is sit in your seat and listen to your teacher!" Haha! Thank you Reid. You make it sound like lots of fun. :)
Also from yesterday - this first picture left over from the afternoon. It cracked me up because Nora is past the "book upside-down phase," but I guess "Skip to My Lou" looks just fine upside-down! Nora has been reading and singing so much this week. Yesterday it was "ABC Alphabet" song ALL day regardless of the book she had. Following picture: Today she was singing "Over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house we go....horse knows the way to carry the sleigh..." She was doing very well with it and knows most of the words. She's only heard it read/sang 2643 times. :) Do you like Atley's choice of places to sit and read!?! Ha!!
This last picture: Nora and Atley were sitting on the bench traveling to the airport. Atley was yelling out instructions: "Are you ready to go Nor Nor?!?" "Get your seat belt on!" "Click click click." (I liked that; she was doing the sounds for the seatbelt!.) "We're going to the airport!!" :)
