Nora - 11/28/2018

Nora ate two servings of whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bites of carrots, no potatoes, and ate fruit salad.

These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Nora, Avi, and Atley were working hard at doing some stickers and they had lots of fun with it.  Nora also did some drawing and said, "I make a tree!"  And she added, "I have a Christmas tree at my house."  Also in the first picture I want to again mention the digital picture frame you see on the wall.  This is a HUGE hit with the kids especially at meal times.  They talk constantly (while eating) and identify who is in the picture.  There is a picture of Emily and every time it comes on Nora says, "Emily Emily Emily!!"  Haha!  Then she'll turn to one of the other kids and say, "That's my Mom!"  (Like they have no clue who it is!)  Ha.  Second picture - They were playing in the igloo.  :)

Next picture: I know I mentioned the "water routine" yesterday, but it cracks me up!  Nora can't reach high enough to get the bottle out of or into the basket so she asks Avi to do it for her.  I guess Avi has them convinced she's the water boss because Atley hands her bottle back to Avi to put in the basket as well. Even though Atley can reach it easier than Avi can.  :)

Last picture: Nora absolutely LOVES playing with these cameras.  Several times every day she'll ask, "Can I do pictures?"  (I love how she phrases that.  So cute!)  She takes LOTS of pictures every day. When I took this picture of her she was saying, "I took picture of Gary! I took picture of Gary!"

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
