Nora - 11/29/2018

Nora ate several bites of whole wheat bagel and ate peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of hamburger & sausage pizza, whole wheat pizza crust, with olives, pineapple, peppers, tomato sauce, and ate a large serving of pineapple on the side.  Two or three times (including yesterday's Blog) I've talked about the digital picture frame on the wall by the table and what a HUGE hit it is with the kids, especially at meal times.  Well it quit working yesterday afternoon!  Haha!  (It's several years old and we've had trouble with it in the past.)  So a new one will be here on Tuesday, but the kids were like "what the heck happened to our pictures!?!"  :)  Some things just have to be replaced immediately!!

First picture: I took this when Daddy Ryan was driving by.  I didn't capture them all waving, but Linnea was also saying, "bye bye bye bye" along with the other two.  So cute.  Picture number 2:  All you really need to do for this age group is move the furniture a bit and it's a whole new toy!!  I moved the box to the center of the room and created a new level of interest with it!  Atley on the left, Nora on the right, and Linnea inside the box.  Right after breakfast Nora asked me something that I could not figure out so I asked Avi, "What'd she say!?!"  (All I could understand was; "please")  Avi said, "Please help me make some ice cream."  Haha!  Actually that was very close and I figured it out.  Atley had stashed all 8 flavors of the "ice cream" on top of the box where Nora couldn't reach it!!  :)

Last picture: Another day, another picture of Nora with a baby!  :)  I really love how much Linnea is enjoying watching Nora and Svea!  So cute.  Speaking of babies:  Hudson's little brother is due in 2 weeks so if everything goes as planned Nora will have a new baby next Spring to love on!!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
