Nora - 12/19/2018

Nora ate bites of french toast and ate strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of hearty paleo stew with meat, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, and carrots!!  She also ate crackers and tropical fruit.  It's nice to have Nora back today and she was very excited to be back.  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange last weekend so it was all new for her today.

I took this first picture when Nora spotted Lauralea this morning.  She was very excited and said, "Hi Lauralea!  Hi Lauralea!!"  And then she started jumping and showing off on the mattress.  :)  (Her feet are off the mattress in the picture.)  Second picture; Nora is playing with Svea.  Today Avi left early and is having a "grandparents day," Atley flew on airplane yesterday for visiting relatives at Christmas, so this afternoon it's just Nora and the two babies.  Just the way Nora likes it!  When Linnea was going to bed Nora asked, "Can I give her a hug?"  Yes of course.  "And a smooch?"  Haha!  Yes.  That was cute!!

Last picture: We fixed up this box for something different and then put little chairs in there and I waited to see how they'd use their imagination!  Well Monday and Tuesday no one even played in there!  Haha!  However, I was thinking that Nora would enjoy it when she came back and sure enough she didn't disappoint me!  Haha!  She spent a LOT of time in there this morning especially with her dolls.  When I took this picture Avilene was in the front and said, "I'm driving the car!!"  Nora was NOT happy about that!  "I'm driving the car!!"  They repeated this back-n-forth and I was waiting to see where it was going.  Then Avi said, "OK!! We can both drive the car."  Wow.  That was very sweet of you Avi and you solved that problem without Gary's help!  I'm proud of you.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
