Nora - 12/20/2018
Nora ate toasted whole wheat english muffin and two servings of oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of everything: ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce.
The kids were waving bye to Daddy Ryan at the window and as he drove off Avi then did the "I love you" sign. Avi said, "He missed the I Love You sign!" Haha! She did it late, but of course it's your fault for driving off too soon! Haha! First picture: the kids playing in the box again. Like I mentioned yesterday this box was NOT used until Nora came back and she's played in there continually and other's have joined her. (She enjoys dramatic play, but actually she'd much rather do it by herself!) :)
This next picture is our neighbor's house and they have a Santa Claus that "repels" up and down this little rope. The only way the kids can see it is from the top of the couch and I don't let them stand up there as it's not safe. However, the Preschool room is two steps higher and they can see it. This morning at breakfast even Linnea spotted it from her highchair and got all excited!
Last picture: Nora was doing this preschool activity putting the right color and shape on the sticks in the right order. She'd rather just put them on randomly, but she followed my lead. She worked hard at it for a few minutes and then said, "I'm done." She was reading books too and singing (over and over and over and over), "Over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house we go. The horse knows the way to carry the sleigh." Of course the book was different. This time it was "Here we go round the Mulberry bush." :)
