Nora ate brown rice and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate salmon, half of whole wheat dinner roll, a couple bites of cauliflower, and ate mangoes.  First thing - I want to wish everyone a very merry Christmas!  Little Treasures will be closed Monday and Tuesday and the Blog will resume on Wednesday the 26th.  The first thing Nora did this morning was go to the kitchen sink and wash hands for breakfast.  The kids stand on a stool while washing and can see the fence across the yard and squirrels frequently use that fence for a runway!  She spotted one this morning and I thought she was gonna fall off the stool.  :)

Nora was reading books and singing, "Frosty the Snowman" with volume and enthusiasm!!  But she wasn't doing the words correctly and Avi had to intercede!!  Nora singing, "Frosty the snowman was a nee nee nee nee nee."  Avi, speaking with animation and using her hands for extra emphasis:  "Nora, How about this!?!  Frosty the Snowman was a jolly happy soul."  LOL

Sometimes Nora does things that fascinate me!!  Here's one from this morning:  She was kind of in a mood that told the other kids to keep their distance.  Well, actually just Avilene.  Atley is gone and Nora holds the babies to a different standard.  :)  She was making a pile of pillows and blankets in the middle of the mattress.  She said (three or four times), "No thank you Avi, no thank you Avi." Huh?! Avi is on the other side of the room and obviously not an immediate threat of any kind.  (I was observing the whole time.)  Then Nora laid down in the middle of the pile.  My guess: She was looking forward anticipating Avi messing with her newly constructed pile.  :)  And practicing a good response!!  (Pretty sure that's expecting too much from a 2 year old!!)

Pictures from this morning: Nora hanging out and having fun with the babies.  Second picture: Taking dolls to Svea.  Nora said, "Here you go Svea."  Hey Nora loves dolls; why wouldn't Svea want some too!?!  :)  Last picture: Nora looking adorable after I fixed her hair.
