Nora ate most of whole wheat english muffin and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of pork chops, ate whole wheat toast, ate (riced) beets, no sweet potatoes, and ate applesauce.

Here are a couple of Nora quotes from this morning: I asked Nora; "Are you waving at Daddy?"  Nora said, "He got Emily's car."  Haha!  She hears that from the other kids all the time, but no one else except Linnea was here when she said it this morning.
I asked Nora, "Are you my sweetie pie?"  She said, "No, I have apple pie at my house."  :)  And that's a great example of why we call this age group "concrete thinkers."

This first picture was taken yesterday afternoon.  I happened to have the camera ready and I heard Atley say, "My tummy hurts."  Nora immediately asked, "Could I see it?"  As you can see the answer was obviously a resounding "yes!"  :)

This next picture was also taken yesterday afternoon.  I love several things about this picture, but primarily because it's the first group picture at the window with little Svea!!  :)  Secondly, I like how they are all spaced evenly apart!  There were five school boys outside doing what 7 & 8 year old boys do after school.  Being crazy, chasing each other in the snow, wrestling, chasing each other around someones's car, and more general silliness!  They goofed around out there for 10 minutes or more and provided lots of entertainment and they knew we were watching.  Three or four of them waved at us.  They also knew we were an appreciative audience!  :)

Now a couple of pictures from this morning.  Atley, Avi, and Nora were doing some Christmas stickers.  Avi was excited when she saw a "ginger bread man" sticker.  Nora said, "I want a Jingle Bread Man!!"  That made me LOL!!  Last picture:  Nora and Linnea were playing in the chair and having a blast.  Nora was spinning the chair and Linnea was laughing as she went around and around.  Then Nora got a doll and doll blankets so Linnea would have some company on the ride.  :)
