Nora - 12/7/2018

Nora ate cream of wheat cereal and bites of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of baked beef kabobs with meat, peppers, and zucchini.  She ate half of brown rice and ate pineapple.

Nora still loves to get on the couch with me when I'm feeding Svea her bottle.  Nora hasn't missed very many of those bottle feedings in the last 8 months!!  :)  Then when I started feeding Svea baby food (at about 6 months) Nora asked, "What baby eating?"  Every day!  :)  So Today went like this; Nora; "What baby eating?"  I said, "The same thing as yesterday.  Do you remember what it was?"  Nora said, "pumpkin....uhhh...apple...with baby cereal." That's right!!  Good remembering Nora!!

First picture: Avi eating breakfast!  Haha!  Avi was at the dentist office and was a bit late, but I basically took this picture to show you all we got the new digital picture frame up and running!  The kids love it of course and there are several pictures on the SD card that were taken by the children. One picture is a pretty amazing shot of Nora's nostrils!!  Haha!!  "A Toddler Selfie!!"

More pictures from Nora's morning: Nora said, "I got flowers!"  And she was admiring her legos flowers.  She and Atley were playing with the legos and wearing masks as well.  Following picture:  Nora, Avi, and Atley were pretending to take naps with the doll blankets.  Linnea joined them and was "pretending to nap" right along with them.  Last picture: Atley, Nora, and Linnea were all responding to Svea's yells because she thought she was really "stuck!"  She frequently gets between the mattress and steps/slide and then she thinks she's stuck.  Linnea does the same thing except earlier this week Linnea was upside-down on her head in the same place and she was REALLY stuck!  Also, I just noticed how long Nora's hair looks in this picture!!  And speaking of hair, Lauralea saw Nora's hair going wild with static electricity again this morning and was laughing about it, but I'm refraining from posting another picture!!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
