Nora - 1/30/2019

Nora ate French toast and three servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of "whole 30" chili with meat, sweet potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, and tomato sauce.  She ate most of whole wheat dinner roll, and ate tropical fruit.  At breakfast Nora asked for more strawberries and I was feeding Svea at the time.  I said, "Ok, but you'll have to wait a couple of minutes before I can cut up more strawberries."  Avi added; "So you don't choke!!"  She LOVES making additions and corrections to my statements!!   :)  I'm making that judgment by how often it happens!

First picture from yesterday afternoon: Nora was giving Svea SO many loves yesterday afternoon; to the point that Svea was getting tired of it!  "Enough Already!!"  You can probably guess what happened when Nora put her head in Svea's lap!  Yup, Nora yelled; "Hey! Don't pull my hair!!"  I said, "Well hey, that's what babies do when you lay your beautiful hair in their lap!!"

Next picture; Nora was reading this ABC book and Avi was loudly singing the "Alphabet Song" so Nora stuck the book in front of her face to block Avi!   Middle picture: Avi went into the preschool room first and when Nora and Atley followed Avi said, "I can't hear!!"  Haha!  And they hadn't even started their singing/reading thing!  That was funny and she knew she was being funny!  Last picture: We did some gluing on hearts for art.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
