Nora - 2/1/2019

Nora ate cream of wheat cereal and half of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of baked beef kabobs with meat, pineapple, zucchini, and peppers.  She ate half of brown rice and ate pineapple on the side.

First picture: This is from yesterday afternoon when Hudson, Baby Callahan, and Momma Maddy came to visit.  Lots of fun to see them all.  Just a head's up for everyone - Callahan will be starting at Little Treasures on April 1st!  Cheers!  Hmm...that date sounds familiar Nora!  :)  See you at the BIG Party Nora!!

Next picture:  I moved the big box out of the play room just for something different this morning.  Before I moved it all the way out I set it on it's side and in a different location and it becomes a totally different toy and something NEW!!  They were all squealing and acting like they'd not seen it before!  "We're SO happy!!  Thank you Gary!!"  :)

Last two pictures: Atley and Nora were having fun like usual!  These two crack me up!!  Nora gets SO mad at Atley sometimes, but Atley will start doing something goofy, as simple as a face-plant on the mattress, and Nora can't stay mad very long.  It's sometimes startling how mad Nora can get and how quick Atley can suck her back in!!  Today it sounded like this:
Nora screaming like she was being violently attacked!!
"Atley hurt me!  Atley hurt me!!"  I said, "Well tell Atley you didn't like that!"
"I didn't like that Atley!"  Nora followed that up by immediately ordering Atley (in a gruff voice) to:
"Give me a love!!"
Atley asked, "Do you need a bandaid?"  Ha!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
