Nora - 2/12/2019

Nora ate half of waffle serving and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, bite of whole wheat tortillas, most of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apple.

I mentioned this to Momma Emily yesterday, but I'll put it here too.  Nora wants Atley and Avi both to know when she goes potty in the toilet and wants them to say something!  She re-enters the Daycare room by loudly announcing, "I pee on the potty Atley!  I pee on the potty!"  No response, so I encourage Atley to say, "Good job Nora."  Next it's Avi's turn to congratulate Nora!!  "I pee on the potty Avi!  I pee on the potty!!"  Avi softly and reluctantly mumbles, out of the corner of her mouth, "good job Nora."  Ha!!

Here are some pictures from Nora's morning;  Nora was putting these doll blankets over Linnea's head and they were cracking up.  I love the look on Linnea's face!!  Second picutre; Atley was "helping" Nora put the mask on and they were both laughing their heads off!  They were doing belly laughs and being pretty silly!!  Atley's face pretty much tells the story!!

Last picture: The three oldest kids were working with the same preschool activity.  Sometimes that works, sometimes not so much.  This one has lots of pieces so they can each build their own project.  This activity is kind of advanced as well, but they like to mess with it.  There are several picture examples of different things they can build to give them some ideas.  Many of the holes are threaded and there are bolts and wrenches to work with too.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
