Nora - 2/7/2019
Nora ate most of French toast and half of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of chicken meatball (substitute for pulled pork today. Costco had these meatballs - organic chicken - no sugar added - cheers!), ate whole wheat toast, peas, and strawberries.
This first note is from yesterday afternoon, but a similar scenario happens almost everyday!! Immediately after I fix Nora's ponytail she yells for Atley to look at her hair and she means RIGHT NOW!! She not only wants Atley to look at her hair, but she insists that Atley comment on it too!! Ha! So yesterday it went like this; Atley was stretched out on the couch reading a book. I finish Nora's hair and she yells; "Look Atley!! Look at my hair!" Atley slowly turns her head to look at Nora and said, "After I finish reading this book." Ha! Those two might play together and laugh uproariously, but man do they ever know how to push each other's buttons as well!!
These first two pictures are from first thing this morning and Linnea was working so hard to keep up with Atley and Nora. First they cleared all the stuffed animals off the mattress; Atley said, "Let's move these so we can have a party!!" Then they packed all the animals across the room, made a pile under the window, and then did everything in reverse. So I guess the party consisted of packing things back-n-forth!
Next picture; they followed up that activity by moving on to the dress-up clothes. I like how all 3 of them managed to get the shorts over their heads!! This all happened before breakfast! Following picture: I always get the highchair kids ready for the meals first and Avi and Nora decided the best place to work on their legos was under Linnea's highchair. :) Last picture; we did some free drawing and stickers at Art time. Nora said she was drawing "trees" and I liked how hard she was working at and I think you'll be surprised how representational it is. Nice work Nora!!
