Nora - 3/13/2019

Nora ate French toast and two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of hearty paleo stew with meat, broccoli, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, green beans, and tomatoes.  She also ate crackers and tropical fruit.

This paragraph is probably more about Avi, but we talked about all the Mommies.  During Story Time we were reading one of our Alphabet books; and we have LOTS of them!!  We got to "M" and talked about everyone who's name starts with "M" and mentioned some Mommies including Hudson's Mommy.  "Molly, Megan, Maddy."  Avi said, "Becca starts with B."  Yes it does and good job Avi!  I asked, "What does Emily start with?"  Avi thought for a moment and said, "M."  Wow, that is actually very good!  It says the letter M perfectly so we'll just leave it at that!  (Man our English language is nuts when it comes to spelling!!)  So, "Hi M-lee!!"  :)

Pictures from Nora's morning; Lauralea was leaving for the bus stop and they were all at the window saying good bye.  What a nice 'send off' for Lauralea and she loves it.  Second picture: The older kids were saying, "Watch how high I can jump!"  Well everyone got on and started jumping of course!  Third picture: Nora trying to look at the pictures in the viewfinder!  Hmm...well let's turn it around first!!  :)

Last picture - Nora came by while Svea was snuggling and got some big smiles out of Svea.  Nora's been going potty occasionally on the toilet and then she likes to run to the Play room and have me fix her diaper on the floor.  Well that's a great opportunity for Svea to come pester her.  Svea kind of circles around Nora and invariably steps on Nora's hair.  Which causes Nora to lose her mind!!  Screaming like it's the end of the world.  Now she yells if Svea gets close.  Svea just seems to be amused by it all.  On Monday Nora was on the couch pouting about something and Svea was "getting" her.  I told Nora to just "run" because the baby couldn't keep up.  Well Svea followed her across the room chasing her!!  Dang!  It's just hard being a VERY sensitive soul Nora!!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
