Nora - 3/18/2019

Nora arrived about 10:00 so if her Blog is a bit short, that's the reason.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, olives, bite of tomato, ate avocado, and three servings of strawberries.  Nora said, "Can I have more strawberries?"  I said, "You haven't even touched your avocado."  Atley said, "I just touched mine!"  Haha!  Stinking literalists!!  :)

Nora was in a panic trying to get every one to the window to wave at Momma Emily this morning.  She was frantically saying, "Hurry Linnea, Hurry!!"  Ha!  So cute.  She didn't want anyone to miss out!  I helped get Svea up there too and everything was wonderful.  :)

Atley and Nora have this routine/ritual thing where one of them yells - today it was Atley yelling - "monsters Nora! monsters!!"  And now it just basically means; chase around and around the mattress.  That's not how it started, but that's what it's evolved into after months of the "monsters" game.  :)

Here are a couple of pictures from Nora's hour of Daycare before I started getting Lunch ready to put on the table.  The girls did some play dough although Nora didn't last very long at that activity.  Last picture: She was more interested in just running around the big room and spinning the chair while Linnea hangs on for a free ride.  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
