Nora - 3/20/2019

Nora ate whole wheat toast and three serving of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, bite of whole wheat tortillas, no vegetables (potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots), and ate fruit salad.

First picture: This is our Birthday poster and the kids love talking about their birthday and also each other's birthday.  I'd thought I'd put this in the Blog so if you ever hear Nora making some kind of reference to an "umbrella" in regards to her birthday you'd know what she was talking about.  Speaking of birthday, April is coming fast Nora!!

I was in the kitchen putting breakfast food on the plates and Nora started yelling, "NO Atley, NO!!" Over and over I might add!!  Ha!!  I said, "Atley, are you terrorizing Nora!?"  I could see her just standing there!  Atley said, "No, I'm terrorizing Linnea."  Haha!  Ok, well thank you for that confession, but please come hang out with Gary for a few minutes until breakfast is on the table.

Pictures from Nora's morning:  Linnea was pushing Nora in the chair and she was going as fast as her legs could possibly go!  Haha!!  I like the amused look on Nora's face.  "This is a great ride Linnea!!"  (Those are my words!)  Last two pictures; Doing some "cooperative play" and working on activities separately.  It's cool to see them starting to work together a few minutes without fighting and moving on to separate work.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
