Nora - 3/6/2019

Nora ate most of whole wheat toast and ate mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef with pasta sauce, whole wheat spaghetti noodles, no riced cauliflower, and ate fruit salad.

First picture: This one is actually left over from yesterday afternoon.  These two goofballs were being so silly.  They'd go up to the wall, smack it with their hands, and then fall straight over backwards.  Nora was being a wee bit more conservative on the backwards fall, but I got a pretty good picture of what Atley was doing.  And there was LOTS of laughing and giggling accompanying this behavior!!

Next two pictures: Well flashlights and headlamps were the big hits of the morning!  Linnea was enjoying her's right along with Atley and Nora.  I didn't think she'd be able to push the on/off button on the flashlight, but she did it immediately and easily.  I got 4 headlamps, 4 flashlights, and 2 other small items at Harbor Freight for under $15.  Pretty cheap toys for everyone.  And they came with batteries!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
