Nora - 4/22/2019

Nora ate some whole wheat Chex cereal and ate peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, tomato, avocado, and three servings of oranges.  I looked out the window during lunch and there was a little bunny rabbit in the yard.  So I took Nora, Avi, and Atley out on the patio and the bunny continued to sit in the middle of the yard munching grass.  Atley asked, "Can we go get it?"  Sure!  So away they went running across the yard after the bunny, and away the bunny went; even faster!  :)  That was just too cute.  Atley asked, "why did it run?"  Because you were chasing it!!  Ha!  I told them it was the real easter bunny!  (Just running a bit behind schedule.)

First picture: Svea saw Nora spreading out a blanket on the floor and she sprinted for it!!  Literally started running!  And plopped down and was gonna lay on it, but Nora yelled and tugged on the blanket.  Second picture: Nora asked Atley; "Can I cover you up!?"  Atley said, "yes" and went and laid on the floor.  Then Nora said, "Oh oh! Your feet are sticking out!!"  Moments later Nora asked Atley, "Do you want to cover your baby up?"  Well Atley didn't have a baby and she wasn't interested!  "No."  Nora persisted and finally said, "Well Gary is the boss and I told you!!"  Hahaha! Not sure what that even meant!!

Last two pictures - Nora was poking holes in the play dough with a little tool that's round on the end.  Avi started doing the same thing and said they were making "buttons."  Last picture: Nora was drawing and said she was "making some N's."  About this same time Atley was in the bathroom and yelled from the bathroom; "My owie is getting better Nora!"  Haha!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
