Nora - 4/26/2019

Nora ate bites of whole grain cream of wheat cereal and no banana for breakfast.  Or as Atley called it; "Queen of weed cereal."  Haha!  Then she changed it to "Cream of weed cereal."  For lunch Nora ate bites of her baked beef kabobs with meat, zucchini, pineapple, and peppers.  She ate half of whole wheat bagel and ate pineapple on the side.

Nora was working hard at doing some somersaults on the mattress and she was having lots of success!  Well done Nora!  She's pretty good at it!!

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon and Nora, Atley, and Avi were doing some sidewalk chalk and as you can see they kept at it for a long time.

Here are some pictures from this morning's activities.  Nora is in the background in this first picture and she's shining her flashlight on the top of Svea's forehead.  Haha!  Just looking I guess!!  Next picture - they still have their flashlights and Avi is checking out their hiding spot with her headlamp. Nora asked Avi, "Is Linnea trying to find us?"  (Linnea wasn't aware of them being gone yet! Haha!)
 

Last picture: They asked to do the same game again that we learned yesterday.  Nora was much more comfortable doing it and following directions.  I made it pretty basic for her - to set her up for success.  "Foot on triangle, foot on whoever the person was, and hand on oval."  Well done Nora!!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
