Nora - 5/13/2019

Nora ate breakfast at home.  For lunch she ate most of ground beef, bite of whole wheat pita bread, most of olives, ate tomato, bites of avocado, and two servings of strawberries.

First picture: As usual Nora was thrilled when Callahan (her practice brother) got up from his morning nap!  This is a very common sight!!  :)  Even when she goes and does something different she keeps her senses tuned in to him!  "His bib came off Gary."  "Gary, Callahan spit!!"  "Gary!! Callahan is crying!"  And on it goes.  You're a great helper Nora!!

Next picture: Svea was playing in the legos box for a long time and she apparently had her arm resting against a "legos flower" during her time in the box.  Shortly after she crawled out of the box Nora said, "She got a flower on her arm!"  What are you talking about!?!  And you could see an imprint of the flower lingering on her arm!!  Ha!!  If you look close you can see it and Nora knew instantly what it was!!

Last picture: Nora with Callahan again!  Geez that's a surprise!  Not.  :)  She had originally been trying to push the stroller in the Daycare Room, but with the carpet it's not too easy!!  (Even though it's a short tight weave.)  Nora said, "It's kind of tricky on here."  Yes it is.  Do you want to go on the hardwood floor?  "Yes!!"

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
