Nora - 5/17/2019

Nora ate breakfast at home.  For lunch she ate several bites of hamburger and sausage pizza with whole wheat pizza crust, meat, olives, pineapple, peppers, and tomato sauce.  She also ate pineapple on the side.

Nora immediately noticed my shirt and said, "That's a new shirt."  And she's right of course.  Nora was also happy to see Atley this morning.  (Atley has been out for a couple of days.)  She gave Atley a hug first thing.

So speaking of happy to see someone take a look at the first picture!!  As always Nora was thrilled to see Callahan.  She loves this stage where they still can't get away from her!!  Ha!  (And Callahan likes Nora a lot too!)

Next picture:  Nora did several activities, but as soon as she heard Callahan fuss a little bit she was right there to help out!  Thanks Nora!  He was fussing and this helped a lot!  Atley also took a turn and he ended up happily watching them in the preschool room for a long time.

Last picture is from yesterday afternoon!!  Linnea was feeding her baby from the "ketchup bottle!"  (From the food toys.)  Man did this bug Nora!!  See the doll bottle sitting beside Linnea; Nora went and got that bottle and took it to Linnea and essentially told her; THIS IS WHAT WE USE!  LOL!  Well you can see what that accomplished.  This cracked me up!  Linnea was having fun using this other bottle and wasn't about to change!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate oatmeal and apple bites for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She ate a bite or two of dinner roll and ate apricots. These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon and the first picture has Riley feeding Nora cottage cheese for snack.  For the 2nd picture Kenzie and Riley wanted to take pictures of me reading to the kids.  (Hudson had left by this time.)  They took several pictures with my phone and I thought they did a good job.  :) All the kids know I use two pillows when I sit on the couch!  This morning I said, "Ok everyone, it's Story Time."  Nora picks up both pillows off the floor and takes them to the couch.  All the kids do that; whoever finds them, but this is the first time I've seen Nora do it!  :)  Shortly before that Hudson had apparently taken something and Nora was yelling at him.  Hudson said, "Hmmm...
