Nora - 5/21/2019

Nora ate half of whole wheat English muffin and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork chop, most of whole wheat toast, ate half of  beets, and ate applesauce.  Mealtime entertainment:  At the breakfast table Atley did two or three really loud burps and Avi said, "Say excuse me!!"  Atley said, "no."  And Avi repeated it again.  Finally Atley said, "Excuse me!"  Avi said, "Now say it again!  You burped two times!!"  Haha!

Here's a cute Nora statement from this morning: "Hey Gary, the last time I went to the Doctor he looked at my teeth and I got a flosser!"  :)

Here are some pictures from Nora's morning; Nora is sitting and watching the other's jump.  What you can't see is her baby she is holding directly in front of her.  :)  And that baby took up most of her morning!!  Second picture: "I have my baby covered up with a blanket."  And she was carrying it around in this big purse.

Another picture with her baby.  She said, "I can't buckle it!!"  So I helped her get her baby strapped in and ready to go!!  Last picture; Atley and Nora were being silly.  Atley was pretending to sleep while Nora was shaking Atley's head.  :)  And of course they were laughing. Nora also did a couple of preschool trays and read some books.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
