Nora - 5/22/2019

Nora ate bites of French toast and ate her strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate "Whole 30 chili" with meat, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and peppers. She ate half of her whole wheat dinner roll, and two servings of tropical fruit.

First picture:  These four were waiting to wave bye to Nora's Momma Emily.  Atley was in the bathroom when Nora arrived and Nora was freaking out that Atley was gonna miss waving good bye.  I said, "Here she comes!"  Except I was referring to Atley!!!  Nora thought I meant her Momma was coming around the corner and she freaked out more because Atley was NOT at the window yet.  Oh man!  By the time I took this picture poor Nora was a wreak!!  (It all ended well, Atley was there before Momma arrived, but the trauma and drama had already taken place!!)

Next picture: Nora was playing with Callahan on the mattress after he woke up from his morning nap.  This was all fun and games until moments later and Cal got a handful of ponytail!!  Nora was screaming, yelling, and looking at me like "what'd he do that for!?!"  Then Nora was freaking out because I'd not taken his pajamas off yet!  "Can you take his jammies off?!  Can you take his jammies off!!  Can you take jammies off that little boy!?!?"  Haha!  Ok ok!  (These were rapid-fire questions; worded more like demands!!  Ha!)

Last two pictures: Well one more traumatic event and Nora's morning was about complete; a complete disaster!!  Dang!!  (Just some humor, but also some truth!)  I was taking a picture of Linnea working with the legos and she slipped right out of the box backward.  Linnea landed on top of Nora's project which of course Nora was sure it was 100% intentional!!  Then just a few short moments later Svea comes in from the back side after Nora's legos and Nora was again very sure she was under attack!!  (I'm judging by the level of yelling and screaming!)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
