Nora - 5/9/2019

Nora was in no mood for breakfast and declined to come and join us.  She certainly made up for it at the next meal!!  :)  For lunch she ate two servings of ground beef, large serving of whole wheat elbow noodles, large serving of peas, and three servings of applesauce.

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon.  Nora was sitting in the stroller holding her baby in a blanket and Svea was working really hard to move that stroller!  If you look close you can see she's "leaning" into it and straining hard!  Except she was already up against the corner!!

Next picture: Like I mentioned earlier Nora was not in a happy mood when she came in and so I asked for her help with Callahan while I got the breakfast food on plates and ready to serve.  This is a super good way to help her transition whenever she's having struggles in that area.  (They'll obviously have to figure something else out when she moves on to Preschool this fall.)

Last two pictures: Well here's Linnea with her "mentor" - at least Nora is her mentor for anything relating to infant care!!  :)  These are two little mommies with lots of nurturing instincts!!  Nora was playing by herself on the mattress and Linnea came and joined her.  They never did interact, just parallel type of playing.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
