Nora - 6/12/2019

Nora ate whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, no sweet potatoes, no carrots and ate a large serving of fruit salad.  Breakfast conversation between Nora and Atley - Avi is with her Grandma today: Nora said, "My Grandpa's name is Greg." Atley said, "Well my daughter's name is Amy."  Haha!  Just an FYI, Atley really does have a friend named Amy.  She was basically Atley's Nanny until there was room at Little Treasures for Atley.  :)

Atley says the same thing every morning when waving bye to Nora's Daddy Ryan when he drives past the window.  "He got a new truck!"  So they're all waving at Ryan and guess what Nora and Atley are talking about.  "Clothes!"  Initiated by Nora of course!!  "You have a dress!"  But at least they continue to wave.  :)  Atley has a dress and Nora said she had a shirt and shorts.  Nora loves dresses, but at least she has pockets on her shorts so that was the trump card as far as she was concerned!!  :)

Here are some pictures from Nora's morning: She did three or four different activities in the preschool room and also read some books.  Second picture: Then of course Nora had to have some space to lay out her doll blanket again!  Atley couldn't care less about the space aspect of it, she's just following Nora around!  haha!  And the last picture: I have to post one with the baby!!  I like how Nora has her tongue positioned!  She gets SO excited for a chance to touch, talk, and love on the Callahan fellow!!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
