Nora - 6/14/2019
Nora ate some oatmeal and bites of dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate two servings of tilapia, a large serving of whole wheat elbow noodles covered with a large serving of applesauce, and ate two servings of green beans. Once again the lunch time conversation was all about halloween! Finally Avi said, "I just don't know how we're gonna get back home!!" I try not to say anything during these conversations, but I was too curious!! "Back home from where!?!" Avi said, "From trick-or-treating!" Haha! I guess she thinks they'll just get dropped off! (Bye Kids! Have fun! We'll see you at home!!) Atley said, "I know how to get back home!" Nora said, "I know how to get back home!" Avi said, "I don't!" :)
First picture: Well there is more than one way to get some alone space! At least in this approach you can have the illusion of being all by yourself regardless of where everyone else is at!! :) We were having Story Time and reading on the couch. Nora kind of leaned against Atley in the same spot as in the picture below. Atley said, "You can lay on me." That was a very sweet offer Atley.
Next picture: This tray that Nora is doing is the one she chooses most often in this exchange. I haven't mentioned this for several weeks, but notice which hand she's using for writing. Lately she's using her left hand for most of the art and writing we do. She's still a bit young, but we'll see. Last picture; This is what Nora would MUCH rather do than any activity in the Preschool room!! Snuggle something! Avi was doing the activity, matching the little hippos by color and then counting them. Meanwhile, Nora was saying, "Oh he's a cute little blue hippo." haha!!
