Nora - 6/18/2019

Nora ate whole wheat English muffin and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork chop, whole wheat toast, beets, and three servings of applesauce.

First picture: This made me laugh and here's the reason.  As I explained a few days ago Nora will take her doll blanket and doll to the preschool area so the babies, especially Svea, can't walk on her blanket.  It was pretty necessary in the last toy exchange because the doll blankets were huge.  This week, not so much!  Haha!  There are larger doll blankets, but Nora has chosen to use these bandanas!   Cracks me up!  Second picture: Not too much to say about it except I'd just put a ponytail in her hair and she immediately put on a mask and went to the mattress to start jumping!

Next picture: I was trying to take a selfie of Nora doing what she always does when I feed baby Callahan!!  At least once every feeding she'll lay her head in his lap just like you see in the picture below.  If you zoom in close you'll see Callahan is also looking at the camera.  Ha!  Last picture: Well guess what!?!  After I fed him and put him on the floor Nora soon appeared there too!  :)  She was laying beside him and admiring him so sweetly.  Then she saw me taking a picture and moved away from him, started sucking her thumb, and acting a bit embarrassed!

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
