Nora - 6/20/2019

Nora ate waffle and a large serving of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate "whole 30" chili with meat, sweet potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, and tomato sauce.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and tropical fruit.  At lunch Nora was calling the Whole 30 chili, "chili."  Haha!  Avilene was all over that!!  She said, "NO!!  It's COLD 30 Chili!!"  LOL!  Oh man I roared!

Moments after Nora arrived she was telling me about having to "go to my room" because of "pulling down on her dress."  Or something like that!  haha!  I wasn't really getting it so she tried to give me a visual!  She pulled on the neck of her dress and stretched it way off her shoulder.  Oh, ok! I think I got the picture!!  :)

First two pictures: Nora watching herself in the mirror making sure she's holding the baby correctly!  See that face: this is serious business right here!!  :)  Second picture: Hanging out with Callahan.

Last two pictures; Nora was playing with Callahan and Svea was wanting to join in on the fun!!  But he comes with instructions!!  From Nora: "Don't touch his face!!"  So I think I heard Svea say something like: "How about I just crawl over the top of him!?!"  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
