Nora - 6/26/2019

Nora ate whole wheat toast and ate two servings of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pulled pork, whole wheat bun, peas, and two servings of strawberries.

The first two pictures are leftover from yesterday afternoon.  There are small apples falling off the neighbor's apple tree and the kids have been picking them up and tossing them around the yard.  So I went and got the garbage basket (semi-hidden behind Avi) and gave them a place to toss the little apples.  Right now the apples are "choke-able size" for Svea and Linnea and that makes me very nervous!!  So I'll be doing some major branch cutting this weekend!!  (I do have an agreement with my neighbor, just in case you thought you might be reading about me in the paper!!  "Neighbor destroys Neighbor's apple tree!!"  Haha!!  Anything hanging over my fence is legal!)

This second picture is also left over from yesterday afternoon when the kids got up from their naps.  It was cute how Svea and Linnea arranged themselves to read books.  Nora was actually laying there first and it was really surprising that she didn't loudly protest the invasion.  Nora even tucked her legs up tighter to make more room for them.  :)

Pictures from this morning:  Nora had her baby wrapped up and was looking at herself in the mirror and then noticed I was taking her picture!  And that's why she has her face covered in the picture!! ha!  Last two pictures: Doing some art again this morning!  Working on scissor skills and doing some stickers.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
