Nora - 7/2/2019

Nora ate half of waffle and ate grapes for breakfast.  As soon as Nora arrived she was eating breakfast and Atley said, "I called you."  Nora said, "Well I was driving."  Atley said, "Nooooo, your Mom was driving!!"  Haha!!  For lunch she ate two servings of chicken, no whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and three servings of baked cinnamon apples.

Nora had to tell me something important this morning.  "Hey Gary!"  What?  "Brother is going to get me presents when he comes out!!"  LOL!!  That hit my funny bone.  I said, "Well no wonder you're so eager to see him!!"  Haha!!

First picture; I took this as soon as Callahan woke up from his morning nap.  I frequently call him "Big Cal" and I didn't even realize it or think about it until this morning when I heard Nora say, "Hi Big Cal."  It sounded funny to me when she said it!  Ha!  Second picture:  Linnea is just standing still while Nora attaches a headband around Linnea's neck.  :)  Look at Nora's crazy hair in this picture!

Next picture: I put a couple of ponytails in her hair and I wanted a picture of them and this is what I got!!  Haha!  Last picture; Doing a preschool tray with Avi.  Avi had just told Nora she was doing her own name so I think Nora was searching for her picture and Name.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
