Nora - 7/25/2019

Nora ate breakfast at home today.  For lunch she ate a bite or two shepherd's pie with meat, potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, and carrots.  She ate half of whole wheat tortillas, and ate her cherries.

This first picture is leftover from yesterday afternoon.  Linnea might be a year plus three months younger, but Nora was thrilled to just kick back, suck her thumb, and ride up and down the sidewalk!! ha!  Avi was complaining because Linnea is not yet an experienced driver when meeting someone on the sidewalk.  "You gotta move!!"  Ha!  Second picture: We do surfing classes at Little Treasures with Avi being the instructor!  Dry Flat Land Surfing.

It was hard not to laugh at Avi trying to boss Nora around.  Nora, of course, has her own ideas about how things work and she was totally ignoring Avilene.  Avi started saying, "Look at me Nora! Look at ME!!!"  Nora just kept ignoring her.  Avi moved into what I'll call "idle threats."  LOL!!  Avi said, "Or else you don't get to come to my house!!"  That didn't work either!  Two times I heard Avi using that threat!  :)

Next picture - Nora has her baby in the sink and notice in the mirror how Linnea is watching and learning from Nora.  Isn't that cute?  Last picture: This is one of Nora's favorite games with Callahan; covering him with a blanket.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
