Nora - 8/23/2019

Nora ate half of whole grain cream of wheat cereal and half of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate at least half of baked beef kabobs with meat, peppers, pineapple, and zucchini.  She also ate brown rice and two servings of pineapple on the side.  At lunch Nora saw Atley's picture come up on the digital picture frame and she said, "I love Atley."  So sweet.

Here are some pictures from Nora's morning;  Here they are playing with the potato heads.  This was funny because Molly and I were talking about these this morning and I said, "They haven't played with these this week at all."  I'm sure Avilene heard us talking and sure enough after breakfast; "Nora, do you want to play with these?"  Then they were doing "ring around the rosy" on the mattress.

Next picture: Nora is covering her eyes (after watching to see which direction Avi was running off to and hiding - hahaha - hey, it just makes the search so much easier.) and counting while Avi hides.  When it was Nora's turn to hide Avilene was chastising (not too harshly - ha) her for choosing the same spot to hide every time.  :)

Last two pictures;  These cracked me up.  What are you guys doing?  "We're exercising!!"  Which is what I assumed, but some of the maneuvers were so funny.  I love how the picture captured Avi's hair as she was coming down for a landing in the last photo.  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
