Nora - 8/5/2019

Nora ate half of kix cereal and ate mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef/turkey, bite of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate tomatoes, avocado, and her cherries.

Since Miles was born I've occasionally teased Nora with statements like I did today; "Nora, did you teach Miles how to walk this weekend?!?"  She always grins and said, "NOOO!!!"  Today Avi immediately followed up with; "Well then what have you been doing for him!"  Haha!  She always adds her two cents worth!!

First two pictures:  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange and of course everyone was a busy little camper!!  Nora wore the leopard jacket for at least 45 minutes.  In the 2nd picture she and Atley were playing with the legos.  Nora said, "Hey Gary, my friend Atley is helping me."

Next picture; Nora was holding her baby and singing, "Are you sleeping, are you sleeping, Brother John, Brother John."  Several times.  :)  Last picture; She was wearing the mama lion suit for a while as well.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
