Nora - 4/302020

Nora ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of pork roast, ate whole wheat dinner roll, ate two servings of orange and red peppers, and three servings of pineapple.  This is not about Nora, but I thought you guys might get a kick out of our lunch conversation:  Atley said, "I'm done!" and she had over half a plate full of food.  Ok that's fine, but did you have a bite of your peppers?  She said, "Yes, but I don't really like vegetables." I said, "Well we eat vegetables because they help us be healthy!"  Then, just being silly I said, "And help us not get the coronavirus!!"  Atley said, You have to wear a mask!"  I said, "Yes, and eat your vegetables."  She began eating those peppers and ate everything!!  Haha.  It helped that Avi pitched in with her 10 cents worth and was yapping on and on about how we need to eat vegetables.  :)  Peer pressure works at 4 years old too!

FIrst 2 pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon.  Avi and Nora were the only ones awake and we were in the swivel chair doing some selfies in the mirror.  :)  Next picture: Avilene had a box elder bug captured and was showing the bug to the rest of the group.  Nothing more interesting outside than those stinking bugs.  Nora was wearing one of my hats.  She complained about it being "too small" and she's right, but she kept it on.  The warmest day of the year, lots of sunshine, and I told Avilene the only head covering I had left was a knit cap.  Haha.  About 30 minutes of wearing that thing, longer than I thought she would, her head was sweating!!

Next picture: Every time I fix a bottle for Miles, Nora holds it for me while I get his burp cloth and grab the pillows for my back.  She was kind of priming him when I took the picture.  haha.  "Here's your bottle Miles!!"  Last puzzle - she's been doing this same puzzle for several days now.  Good work Nora.
