Nora - 5/26/2020

Nora ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, half of whole wheat pita bread, three servings of olives, ate avocado and two servings of strawberries.  At breakfast Nora said, "Miles put a bouncy ball in his mouth and Dad got nervous; afraid he world choke."  Avi said, "Well the easter bunny brought me a bouncy ball!"  Kids! They crack me up!  Egocentricity runs rampant here!  :)

I have several pictures of Nora's morning and she was a busy little girl.  First up; the doll house.  This was right after arrival and this was number 1.  Then - second picture - she went to give brother some attention because apparently she had not seen him over the long weekend.  Haha.

Next picture: I was watching Nora run at the couch and jump on face-first.  And I noticed her legs were going high in the air.  And this was about the best photo I could get of it.  :)  Following picture: They did "Ring-around-the-Rosy" together - at least for a couple of minutes.

More pictures;  Nora has on the bear mask and Avi is a wolf.  And of course Avi was looking for physical confrontation!  Nora wasn't interested, but boy she was really cheering when the wolf went on the prowl elsewhere!!  Last picture: The kids were waiting for Julie (Lauralea's sister) to get out of her car.  They were all hyped-up about having a visitor this morning.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
