Nora - 6/16/2020

Nora ate bites of waffles and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and two servings of baked cinnamon apples.

First picture: Atley and Nora were doing some coloring first thing this morning, but the coolest part about this was their conversation.  I have no idea what they were talking about and I wasn't trying to listen.  I enjoyed hearing the constant chattering.  I love that.  Hey Nora! Do you like the color purple!?!  (I only know it's purple because later I asked her.  Ha!)

Next two pictures playing with Atley;  Atley is under the blanket and you can see her hand sticking out.  They were pretending to just get up from sleeping and they had appointments to go to.  Second picture; They were saying things like, "We have to hurry because it's super late."  "I'm going to the dentist for an appointment and I am really late."  "Let's hurry so we're not late."  Hmm...I see a theme here.  :)

Last picture; Nora was playing on the stove top.  (Ha.)  Which I don't really care if they play up there, but she'd taken the school buses up there and they are too big and one fell on the floor, just missing her baby brother.  Yikes.  Thank goodness it missed him!!  Did you see Miles in bottom righthand corner?

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
