Noral - 6/25/2020

Nora ate blueberry bagel and three servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with the meat, peppers, tomato sauce, pineapple, and olives.  She ate the whole wheat pizza crust (which we serve on the side as the bread), and two servings of pineapple on the side.  At breakfast Atley told Nora; "I like your shirt."  Nora said, "Yes, it matches the peaches."  :)

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Lauralea was showing them how to put their names on the pillow.  Second picture:  Atley and Nora were having a "party" (their word) playing with the school buses and Cal was playing close by with a school bus as well.  They were SO worried that he was gonna steal some of their stuff so one of them would stand "guard" (again, this is their word) while the other went for more supples. Honestly, Cal did not appear the least bit interested in their stuff, let alone try to take some of it.  :)

Next picture; Nora was doing some airplane teeter-totter with Callahan this morning.  Which was super cute.  However, she's not accustomed to doing "all the work," but in this scenario she is the heaviest one.  She said, "Gary, will you push us?!?"  Haha.  Nope, you can work on your leg muscles!!  :)  Last picture; Cal is in the climber and Nora and Atley are burying him with all the balls.  He actually crawled in after they were loading it up with balls.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
