Nora - 7/10/2020

Nora was shopping with Mommy this morning.  For lunch she ate hamburger stew with meat, green beans, carrots, and tomatoes.  She said, "I love this stew.  She always eats the different stews very well.  She ate whole wheat dinner roll and three servings of apricots.

Nora's Blog is gonna be shorter today!!  I usually get lots of notes and pictures from the first 2 hours of the day and/or from the previous afternoon.  When it gets close to Lunch time it gets very busy around here.  That's not hard to imagine, right!?!?  Haha.  I actually like the loud noises of kids as long as it's happy/neutral noises.

In this first picture we were doing a game called "farmyard bingo."  I was running the spin wheel and calling out the names it landed on.  The kids had fun and really enjoy playing different games.  Last picture; So I thought we'd give it a try to just let them play another game called Chutes & Ladders while I got Lunch ready to go on the plates.  Haha.  It was no longer happy/neutral noises.  The noise escalated rapidly and furiously!  With strong emphasis on the furious part!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
