Nora - 7/16/2020

Nora ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, three servings of peas topped with three servings of applesauce.  Coral came upstairs during lunch time and the kids were excited to see her and were ALL talking at once.  Totally cracked me up.  Everyone vying for her attention!! And they just kept getting louder and louder.  It was SO funny and sounded something like this, but all yakking at the same time!!
Atley: "I have two apple trees and a pear tree!"
Avi: "We're getting a new kitchen!"
Nora: "We have a camper!!"
Svea: "I have Frozen 2!"
Cal: "Hi hi hi hi."

Some pictures from Nora's morning.  First picture: I'm not sure what these two were playing, but all they'd say was "sleeping."  So maybe that was the game; sleeping.  Haha.  Second picture; Nora and Atley spent lots of time this morning working on the Potato Heads.

Last picture: Nora found the perfect place to perch, right??!!  Haha.  She has always loved those mirrors!!  She'd been asking Alexa to play the "Chicken Dance" and "Take me out to the Ball Game" and then going to the mirror and dancing.  However, every time she noticed I had the camera on her then she'd quit.  Stinker.  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
