Nora - 7/17/2020

Nora ate brown rice and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate three servings of salmon, bites of whole wheat dinner roll, ate cauliflower, and two servings of mangoes.  Breakfast conversation with Atley;  Nora said, "I'm gonna do swim lessons in South Dakota.  They have a pool in South Dakota." Atley said, "Well my Dad is gonna work and my Mom and I have to think of something to do, but we didn't quite think it!"  :)   Nora said, "So you didn't know!"

Just thought I'd throw in a picture from nap time yesterday.  Pillow is optional!  :)  Following pictures with parachute.  Nora on front left, Svea, Atley, and Avi.  (Going clockwise.)  Svea was just basically hanging on for dear life and had her legs going as fast as she possibly could!!   Third picture: More play with the Parachute.  The 4 girls are under it in this picture.  I heard someone say, "This will be a good place to hide from our Mommas!"

Next picture: Nora and Atley were playing with Mr Potato Head and all the accessories.  And these glasses are one of the accessories.  (I think there are about 5 pairs of glasses in the tub.)  She and Atley were singing the "Baby Shark" song, making up different lines, and laughing their heads off.  The line with this picture was; "Gramma shark, do do do do do do..."  :)  Last picture; Atley and Nora have dolls tucked up their shirts and were walking around saying, "Hey Gary! We got a baby in our tummy!"  Haha.  I'm no doctor, but by the appearance of Nora's baby I think she ought to be in the delivery room!!  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
