Nora - 7/9/2020

Nora ate French toast and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of watermelon.

First picture:  Well here's another blurry picture for you!!  I should probably figure out how to take "action shots," but for now this is it!!  :)  Nora and Atley were getting lots of exercise doing this and they were even landing on the soft mattress instead of the hard floor like yesterday!!

Next picture:  Nora has the Doll house arranged just the way she wants it.  Our little "details girl."  Now she's just gonna suck her thumb for a few minutes and study the arrangement some more. :) Following picture: Nora had built the "Christmas Tree" (tower on the left) and Alexa was playing Christmas music.  Haha.  And Cal was doing the heavy work.  Of course Cal didn't set these down too gently and Nora said, "Hey!!  Cal hurted my foot and thumb!!"

Last picture:  Cal was initially the only one in the legos drawer, but things started getting a bit crowded!!  This is not social distancing!!  :)  Haha.  Svea was the last one to get in and as you can see she kind of ended up on Nora.  Nora was not too impressed, but on the other hand she did not freak out like she may have in recent memory.  And that's progress.  :)

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
