Nora - 8/17/2020

Nora ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate avocado,  tomatoes, and three servings of cherries.   During breakfast Svea looked at Nora and said, "I love you Nora."  It was very sweet and cute.  Also at breakfast I told the kids that Nora and Miles were the only ones here Friday and Atley asked Nora, "What were you wearing!?"  Haha!! And Nora remembered!!  "A flamingo shirt."  

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so everyone was busier than usual.  Nora and Atley were playing with the dress-up clothes and then the light bulb went off - they looked at each other and realized toy exchange meant different doll accessories!!  They both yelled; "DOLL HOUSE!!"  Haha.  That was pretty cute.  And here they are in the first picture.  Second picture;  This car ramp isn't really supposed to be in this toy exchange, but Nora played with it a few minutes.  

Next picture: Nora found the dolls and doll clothes and I helped her get one of her babies dressed.  Last picture; Look at all the toys on the sinks.  Atley said, "We're having a party."  As soon as they were done with this "party" Callahan moved in and plundered their loot.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
