Nora - 8/20/2020

Nora ate most of whole wheat English muffin and ate two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of meat balls, ate whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce.  

This first picture of Atley, Nora, and Miles on the mattress was so cute.  Atley was saying silly things like, "Miles, you big baby!"  "You big baby!"  And of course Nora was laughing hard and giggling and that just kept Atley doing it more and more.  It was super cute.  Second picture; And a short time later they headed to the Doll House.  Sorry Miles, you're on your own!  :)  I see they've incorporated the plastic accessories container into part of the Doll House!!

Next picture; The three big girls were playing with the battery powered cars up and down the hallway - primarily having races!  Then they were running the cars through the archway you see in the picture.  Following picture: Lauralea helped the girls make some paper airplanes and Lauralea also took the picture of the girls flying their planes.  

So check out Nora's picture she drew.  Tell me about your picture Nora.  What she told me kind of amazed me too and touched my heart!!  "I made an old man and an old grandma. The old grandma has tears because it hurts."

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. Nora - 08/26/2021

Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. We could use her for a poster encouraging people to wear masks!! First picture; Yup, Nora's back in the house!! First things first; Get these fellas all lined up, organized, and ready to go!! Ha. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
