Nora - 8/21/2020

Nora ate brown rice and ate raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of salmon, ate whole wheat dinner roll, cauliflower, and two servings of mangoes.   At lunch Atley started this conversation: "If I have a baby my Mom will be a Grandma!"  Avi yelled, "If I have a baby my Mom will be a Grandma!" And Nora chimed in with the exact same phrase!  They were SO excited!!  They kept talking, but I was snickering too much to hear the rest of the story!!  I know it wasn't that funny, but I remember my kids saying things like that before I was hardly past 30!!  Yup, Life happens!!  

First picture; Nora tucking in a pillow.  I'm not sure what they were playing, but I was mostly focused on how diligently Nora was working to get this blanket tucked around the pillow just perfect.  And she worked and she worked and she worked.  Next picture; Well you may not see Nora in the picture immediately, but look at the lower right-hand corner and you'll see her leg.  Haha.  These three girls were playing with the battery-powered cars again on the hardwood floor.  

Next picture: More art work.  So what is this picture about Nora?  She said, "This is a picture of a girl sitting in a chair by a pool."  :)  I love that.  Last picture: We were outside before Lunch and the kids had fun running off some energy! Miles was the only one not on the airplane.

Nora ate oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, and onions. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of fruit cocktail.    Just in case anyone was wondering how many; this is the last of 836 Blogs for our sweet Nora. It's been such a joy for me to have Nora in my Program for all this time and I'm also thankful when she returned during the crazy covid time. I'm glad Miles will be here for another year which means I get to see Nora occasionally. I sure love all my Hansen family!! You guys are awesome. Here's a classic Nora comment from yesterday. The 3 oldest girls were at the table doing some Art. There was a clean piece of paper which had some paint or marker on the very top of it. Breakfast: French toast and plums. Avi said, "Not eating!" Ha. Ok, then Atley and Nora both followed suit! "Not eating!" Ha. I bet you guys will eat a big lunch and they did. Nora ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, ate peas, and three servings of cantaloupe.    Nora; "I'm SO excited to start Kindergarten!!" Boy I've been hearing that phrase a lot lately and it is exciting!! What are you most excited about? Nora said, "I get to wear my mask." LOL That was SO cute. I laughed so hard. Nora - 05/25/2021

Nora ate blueberry bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice in berry juice, ate broccoli, and marion black berries.  At the meal table Nora saw a picture of Svea in the early years (ha) and said, "Look at you Svea! You were SO cute." Svea asked Nora, "Did you like me when I was that age?" What a super sweet conversation from both sides. Love it so much! This is kind of random, but in case anyone was wondering; I stopped doing the Spanish color words for the kids because - after listening to Alexa and Siri - I wasn't getting them correct and I didn't want the kids to have to unlearn and then relearn at Paxon. :)  First picture; Nora was building a tower with these little wooden blocks and you can see the "source of her supply."
